Private Referrals

If you have seen the doctor and they have decided to refer you for further investigations, you can choose to have a private referral if you wish, and you should discuss this with the doctor during your consultation.

You will need to research the available options yourself and contact the private health provider directly to discuss your needs.  Once you are happy that you wish to go ahead you will need to contact us at the surgery to provide the name, address and contact details of the private Consultant you wish the referral to be sent to.  We will contact you when the referral letter is ready for you to collect. There is no fee for a private referral letter, but we cannot provide blank or "To Whom It May Concern" letters of referral.

Please be aware that if you decide to have tests or investigations done privately you will need to discuss the results and required follow-up directly with your private Consultant.
